Admission Requirements

Secondary School Diploma (SSD)

It’s for me if:

• I am undecided about my future career path
• I need to meet special requirements for admission to a college-level program
• I want to check my interest in a program
• I chose a program that is not open in the winter semester
• I prefer to familiarize myself with the college before entering a specific program

The Cégep de Sept-Îles’ Experience

• Built-in support to help me with my academic program
• Guidance counselling service
• Workshops to promote academic success
• Job shadowing in different workplaces
• Courses taken during Springboard to a DCS will be credited in my future program, reducing the number of course hours
• General and complementary courses can be taken in French
