Cégep de Sept-Îles belongs to the « Service régional d’admission au collégial de Québec » (SRACQ).

You must apply over the Internet on the SRACQ’s website: www.sracq.qc.ca

The Round System

The round system is an efficient system set-up to manage applications for admission which limits the number of programs you can apply to.

Fall term

Deadline	Response
1^st round: March 1	early April
2^nd round: May 1	mid-May
3^rd round: May 1	mid-June

Winter term

Deadline	Response
1^st round: November 1	mid-November
2^nd round: December 1	mid-December
3^rd round: January 2	mid-January

If it’s a positive response, Cégep de Sept-Îles will send me a letter of acceptance and the necessary information to register officially.

General Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission to a program leading to a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) at the Cégep de Sept-Îles, you must have a Secondary School Diploma (SSD) or a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS).

You must also have successfully completed the following courses:

Secondary IV History
Secondary IV Sciences
Secondary V Language of Instruction
Secondary V Second Language
Secondary V Mathematics

If you earned a Secondary School Diploma (SSD) or a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) through the Continuing Education programs, you must have:

Secondary IV Mathematics
Secondary V Language of Instruction
Secondary V Second Language

And have successfully completed the prerequisite courses of the program (if applicable).

Special Conditions for Admission

You may be granted conditional admission if you are missing a maximum of six credits to obtain the SSD or one of the three compulsory courses for the DVS. You must make up the missing units during your first semester.
